This blog began in 2012. Although I've been blogging since 2002, a purpose keeps posts on track. This blog has a three part focus:
1) Neighborhood beat
A place to prayerfully reflect on neighborhood interactions and relationships. Because I have a lot to learn when it comes to loving my neighbors.
2) Upwardly mobile
A means to shift my eyes from Pinterest towards God's workings in this world. A deliberate exploration of what it means to be a 20-30 something in suburbia and also a child of God. Because Jesus gives me my identity.
3) When 'no' means 'yes'
A meditation on choices and how the traditional faith disciplines come alive in daily family life. Because I have a toddler who wants to know 'why' and 'how' when it comes to Jesus and worship.
